The first day my husband and I made the sandwich, neither one of us cared for it. It tasted very bland and I hated the bread, which was soggy and chewy. You took a bite and the bread squished and the filling blobbed out. The next day, after setting up in the refrigerator, my husband sliced the sandwich in about inch wide pieces, layed them out on a cookie sheet and put them under the broiler. YUM. MORE flavor after sitting overnight and the breast was crunchy and toasted. He ate his with a knife and fork and I picked mine up. Much more flavor and easier eating this way. Try it.

My wife and I found this an easy enjoyable change of pace, a nice departure from the same old everyday dinner. We had this with some eggs and it was really great. Thanks Emeril!
