I make lamb every year for Christmas. This was one of the best! Very easy to follow and came out better than any other I've made.

After much serching for that "perfect" lamb recipe, I found this one. While it takes a bit of prep work, the results are beyond belief and well worth it!! It has rapidly become one of my "signiture" entrees for dinner parties, and is the most requested of all for holidays! KUDOS to EL!

I have made this lamb for several years, and it has now become our Easter Meal. It is to die for, and if for one min. my family thinks I am making something different, they let me know their displeasure. It is so easy and so worth the "extra time" to make the delicious marinade.

My husband and I made this lamb and it was a sure hit. The marinade made the entire meat so tender and delicious. I will cook it again.

The marinate adds great flavor yet isn't over powering...and I marinated it for 24 hours. I baked the lamb for 2 hours and it came out perfectly medium rare and tender. Less time would have been very rare.

I had this huge lamb leg in my freezer. My family is a traditional "ham on easter" type. You'd think I had antenna's on my head when I cooked lamb instead. But this recipe made everyone grab second helpings. Thanks Emeril for saving my tail!!

I made this for my first ever dinner party and it came out GREAT!!!, for even better results, if you have one, use a Foodsaver to suck all of the air out of the bag you are marinating in. It forces even more flavor into the meat. This recipe was easy to make and very, VERY tasty....don't believe me try it for yourself.......I'll see your rating on here in a couple of days.

After a try at turkey, and other lamb recipes, I found this recipe on the website some years ago -- and it just looked good and easy. [never saw Emeril make it]

We've served this as our family Christmas meal for the past four years. Our three kids (7, 9, 11 start asking weeks ahead, "Are we going to have that lamb for Christmas again?" The amazing thing is that it is so simple to prepare -- which is a plus for a hectic Christmas morning. We make sure to marinade the leg of lamb for the maximum amount of time to get the full effect closely following Emerils recipe .

It's also amazing how potatoes can taste so good, with such a simple and straightforward preparation.

I think if you have a hankering for garlic this is really your meal....and if you don't try it, you'll like it!
