This recipe was a huge hit with my family--including my 3 kids! I was really surprised at how much they liked it. I stuck to the recipe except that I added diced ham because my husband and son prefer meat in their dishes. We were halfway through the meal before the kids realized it wasn't pasta they were eating. We'll definitely be making this again!

This is incredible. I'd only suggest adding different herbs (i.e. FRESH GARLIC and SUN-DRIED TOMATOES! You've got to add the sun-dried tomatoes. And I bake it longer to make it more tender. Everyone loves it.

Easy, healthy, and everyone in my family (kids and grownups alike loved it! I love that you can get a slightly different take on it each time depending on what herbs you happen to have on hand.

Made as written and it was very good. Adjusted herb quantities to suit my preferences using larger quantities of fresh herbs and a few dried as well. I read reviews before making this recipe and I can't figure out how it could be "watery". The only water is in the baking dish and not used in the final product. Did these people mix the squash with the baking liquid?
