OK recipe. Not great. Way too much liquid in the end product. IMHO, the best baked beans recipe I've ever tried is on this website. It's called French Canadian Baked Beans and uses maple syrup instead of molasses as the sweetener. DELISH!!!

these were very easy to make and have a wonderful flavor, however I thought that there was at least twice the amount of liquid there should be. I will add another bag of beans to the recipe or halve the amount of chicken stock next time i make these. Overall a winner!

This was way too salty without addition of salt and pepper. Consistancy was fine.

I made this for my pot luck at work and I was crowned Chef of the day. I made it in the crock pot instead of the stove so it simmered while I was sleep and came out perfect. I also used a hamhock instead of the bacon and used half bbq sauce and ketchup instead of mustard. Seasoned to tast and got rave reviews. Thank you Emeril!

I thougth a gallon of stock was too much, so only added 4 cans of chicken broth (56 oz. I did cook the beans a good 5 hours, but was disappointed that they were a tiny bit hard when served. The taste is awesome and everyone did enjoy them, but they needed to cook more. I guess they didn't soften all the way because I didn't add the right amount of liquid. These are awesome, so don't make my mistake.
