My bf and I are both from the south, and he went completely bonkers when I made these sweet potatoes for him. Its a nice change on the plate from mashed potatoes and french fries or rice. It looks great and it taste even better. He loved them and requests them all the time. You cant miss!

I didnt make the chicken, but i made the sweet potatoes to go w/ my Spiraled ham. This was my first time to make fresh sweet potatoes (ive always been lazy and used canned. The recipe is extremely easy and is just delicious! I am from the south so i added cinnamon and chopped pecans. Turned out great!

Easy and delicious. We loved the chicken and the sweet potatoes. We have also used boneless skinless chicken breasts and have microwaved the sweet potatoes as shortcuts. Great alternative to standard mashed potatoes. We make this often. Easy to adjust to your tastes (sweeter, more lemony, etc.

The taste is excellent, and I didn't have to go out and buy a bunch of stuff. Really simple yet flavorful dish! Will make again.

Tried this recipe last night using leg quarters. The chicken turned out great, I added more lemon juice than the recipe called for because I needed to baste both sides of the chicken. My husband loved it. Will make this recipe again.

    Thanks Emeril

My husband is very picky and he loves this chicken recipe. It was tasty, tender and juicy. I didn't have time to make the sweet potato mash but will try next time.

This recipe was delicious and the sweet potatoes go great with the honey,lemon-butter chicken! This entire meal probably took me 15 minutes to prepare. I also substituted raw sweet potatoes for canned, drained about half of the water, and added the brown sugar, butter, salt and pepper. Turned out great!
