I've been making this dip for a very long time. Everyone loves it. I'm expected to make this dip for all parties.

A great hot dip for those who like the heat and can stand the kitchen! I only used cheddar, but amped up the jalapenos and an extra dash or two of hot sauce. Perfect appetizer for superbowl party. May add some cayenne pepper next time too for a combination of heat.

I've made this dip several times and is always a hit. The croutons with it are absolutely delicious. It's very easy make and will definitely be the talk of the party.

My guests and I couldn't get enough of it. It tends to be VERY hot, so you might consider leaving out some of the heat. I use only the pickled jalapeños for the heat. I'll serve this a lot.

I use 1/2 lb crab and supplement the remainder with artichoke hearts as a cost saving measure. Otherwise it's about a $40 dip. It has always been a crowd pleaser. I also cheat and use pre-made croutons. Good stuff!

I've been making this for years and it's always been a huge hit.
The amount of jalapenos and pepper cheese can be adjusted for heat level and creaminess. People request that I bring it and it's always the first thing to disappear at parties. Once, I showed up with a different appetizer and the whole evening I had to listen to, "Where's the crap dip. What? She didn't make it?" That doesn't happen anymore.

I thought it was good- not amazing. I wanted a creamy dip, and I think this was more like a huge spicy crab cake. I used habenero's and they gave the recipe a yummy warmth that added something special. I'm going to keep looking for a killer crab dip!

This recipe is awesome. Definately one of my favorites and sooooo easy. It makes me look like a culinary superstar. I get requests and I make it all the time! Everyone loves it and my husband eats any left overs on bread the next day as a sandwich. Not that there's usually any left overs. It's spicy, but I tone it down depending on the crowd by reducing the jalapenos or replacing the pepper jack cheese with plain shredded cheddar.

We always serve this dip when we have large gatherings. It is a winner. Our guests gobble it up and ask for the recipe. You must love spicey though. Reduce the jalapeno, to reduce the spice. I'm making it for superbowl sunday and it will be just the two of us. We can't wait to eat it. Yum Yum!
