I've made this dish to a t and it came out great. My husband is not a fan of shrimp, but he said it was so good, that it didn't matter. I will make this again and again. Try it with the baked basmati recipe from epi, and some naan. Could be good with chicken. Obrigado, Emeril.

Thank you Emeril. This recipe was easy to make and very yummy with lots of flavor. Something I will make again in the future. I made some minor adjustments due to ingredients on hand and that I was feeding this to my kids. I usually have home roasted green chilies in the freezer, and to my dismay after I had started making this, discovered I was out. So I substituted red bell pepper, red pepper flake and chipotley seasoning. I also used fire roasted tomatoes. My husband even went back for a second heaping helping. We think the sauce might even work well with lamb. My kids were so so on this... O well their loss.

This recipe is so full of flavor and incredibly delicious! My second time making this recipe, I used salmon in the place of shrimp. This is one dish you must try!

I made this recipe last night for dinner and it was delicious. Instead of the ghee I made my own clarified butter and I used canned green chiles (one serving and everything else I did the same. The shrimp tasted like something you would order at an Indian restaurant. With the sauce it is hard to tell when the shrimp turn pink, so once you see them curl up you know you are good to go. I served this with Guy's bollywood basmati rice. Delicious!

All i can say about this is..OMG! i thought i was eating in an indian restaurant..DELICIOUS!!.I only used 2 of the chilie peppers..my family not fans of spice, did not need to be excessive amount of heat..also used light coconut milk since i couldnt find unsweetend coconut milk in my stores..no real difference noted..Also i used bigger shirmp and there so really no difference after being shown the difference with the seafood man at the store..Kuddos to Emeril!

I cooked this dish last night. I was a little nervous on pulling it off, however it turned out lovely. I love the kick from the chilies. I added four green chilies, but next time I will add the entire six for that extra kick. I also did not remove the seeds from the chilies. Peppers hold there heat in the seeds. I love this dish and so does my fiance. Great job Emeril on this take of Indian inspired shrimp!!!

Try this recipe!! It is completely idiot-proof and easy. Not to mention one of the most delicious dishes to ever come out of my kitchen. Next time I'll try a hotter chili and will most likely try it with chicken as well. My boyfriend declared this his favorite of all time! oh, and either naan or an afghani flat bread on the side is a perfect compliment to this spectacular dish.

My friend's SO, who loves to cook and will try out recipes that look interesting on FN made this a few months ago and we loved it. He made it again last night for my birthday dinner and I must say, it tastes better each time. I think it's a good recipe to make for those who don't like curry as a way to build a bridge to get them moving in that direction. The recipe makes a generous amount, which is good, because we could not stop eating it! Served over basmati rice it was heavenly....
Our "chef" followed the recipe, but I personally would like just a bit more heat, but that's something I could always add to my own dish. THIS ONE IS A KEEPER!
