Most definitely 5 stars. I like the fact that Emeril made it easy to make at home. I cooked it for my wife on our 4th Aniversary.

I made my own Jack Daniels reduction sauce to accompany the Wellingtons.

    It's was a hit!

I love beef wellington but in the past I've always been scared to make it. I'm glad I finally did and chose this recipe because it was fairly easy and the results were fantastic. One change I made was that I used red wine instead of white and accompanied the beef with a red wine sauce. I will definitely use this recipe again.

Easy to make and they look beautiful. Made them for a family dinner with some fussy eaters and everyone loved it. Served it with Green bean bundles and potatoe gratin. Awesome dinner

This recipe was a total hit! And super easy too! Made the Mushroom Duxelles a few hours ahead and the rest was so easy to prepare as guests arrived. Had dinner on the table in twenty minutes ? start to end. Made this recipe sans the liver but the flavors from the Mushroom Duxelles made up for it Big Time in my opinion - really infused into the meat. So tasty and really brought me back to the days of my Mom's dinner parties. Served this with a bearnaise sauce (the way my Mom used to serve it and sides of rosemary roasted baby red skinned potatoes and steamed asparagus. Will definitely do this again!

I tried this for the first time last night and they came out perfect! I didn't do the mushrooms and pate thing, but did wrap the steak in bacon and topped with sauteed onions. AWESOME! The steak was done to perfection and the crust was golden brown and very tasty.

I made this for my husband on our anniversary and it was delicious and classy. Beef Wellington seemed like such an ambitious dish to make, but this was really simple.
