This is a good recipe, and except for the allspice, basically, it's just as I learned to make it. It's easy to follow. I've made Jamaican Rice and Peas before using this method but, lately, I've been lazy and just substitute part of the liquid with canned coconut milk. Other than that it's the same and always a hit.
