Found this recipe by accident, looking for something else and WOW! It doesn't get much easier than this for super tasty food. I have a flan recipe that's much more complex, but this one is just as good.

A couple minor suggestions: First, I made individual servings as I think they present a little better. I made 4, and the servings were a little too big, so next time I'll make 6. Second, it was just a tad bit heavy. It might have been I just poured too much in each serving, but next time I'll whisk a little more. Last, I had a few lumps, so I will push it through a fine sieve in the future.

    Enjoy!

The recipe was easy to follow. But I didn't care for it. I found it not to be light. My was very dense. I didn't like the sweetness. But give it a try. My husband said he will eat it.

The instructions could stand to be more specific. I think not stirring the sugar was a difficult way to caramelize the sugar. I used a wooden spoon in the end to stir it. And the time in the oven is really important. Two minutes could be the contrast between outstanding flan and egg/milk ick. Great flan though, I will definitely make this again.

I was nervous since I had never made Flan but it turned out beautiful and delicious. Some of the caramelized sugar did stick to the bottom of the pan, but there was plenty for taste and puddling on the plate.

I am an avid lover of flan and decided to try to finally make one myself. The recipe was super simple and the result is amazingly delicious!! Even my friend, who is a chef, asked for the recipe!

I made this flan as gifts for the holidays, it was a hit!! My friend kept asking where i bought it. The texture is amazing.. I did find the cooking time to be shorter.

I usually use another recipe for flan and thought I would try something different with this recipe. It's so easy! I used to have problems with caramel, and where I live (Hawaii powdered sugar seems to work for me. The first time I made it, it was for a party. I was so confident that it would turn out amazing and it did. Everyone loved it! It's much smoother and creamier than my other recipe.

I read the reviews of this recipe and almost didn't try it because of the comments about making the caramel. But after doing it and having it turn out great, even though I've never made flan before, I realized that it's not the recipe's fault that some of the comments mentioned problems they had caramelizing the sugar. That is something that should be learned/perfected outside this recipe. If you swirl it and make sure the heat, for your stovetop, is not too high, it'll come out fine. Great recipe! Easy and impressive!
