LOVE this once I made a few alterations. I think it is way too strong with the vanilla vodka so I substituted Dr. Magillicuddy's vanilla schnapps (French Kiss or regular Vanilla. I also increased the pineapple juice to 2 ounces. And when I shake it, I just use a nice long squirt of canned whipped topping instead of cream THEN shake.

This is a YUMMY drink recipe. I however, found it to be a little bit too creamy. I changed it up a little to make it less creamy. I would RECOMMEND using only a dash of the heavy cream and doubling up on the pineapple juice...Yum!

Too strong. Too much booze in it.

I'm having a party tonight, and I wanted to change the drink selection up from the traditional beer/wine thing I normally do, so I thought this would be a big hit!

I went to my local package store, and asked specifically for this brand. The sales associate told me that the brand had been "renamed," and that it is called dekuyper kamikaze blast. It was this bright green syrup-y looking concoction, and I took his word for it because I desperately needed the lime liquor.

Fortunately, I had the brains to do a test run before company came. I tried this out, and it was HORRIFIC. Let me repeat.... HORRIFIC. And that is because I did not use the Ke Ke Beach!!!

So I frantically called about 15 package stores around my tri-town area, most people had absolutely no idea what I was saying, let alone having it in stock. I must have said Ke-Ke beach 8 times to one sales associate over the phone, and somehow she thought I was asking for Southern Comfort!

Finally, I found a package store that carried it!! I made a b-line to purchase it, followed the recipe almost exactly (substituting coconut milk in for heavy cream and OH MY GOODNESS THESE ARE FANTASTIC!

I'm still doing my "test run" of these... and I feel like they might be creeping up on me! So delicious, but they pack a punch so be careful!

I'm so excited to make these for my guests tonight. Emeril, thank you so much for specifying exactly what type of liquor to get. BEWARE OF IMITATIONS, OR DECEPTIVE SALES PEOPLE THAT JUST WANT YOUR $$. GET THE KE-KE BEACH!

I have had only 1 version of a Key Lime Pie Martini that I have loved & that was at Harrisons Resturant in Orland Park, IL. Since I have moved to North Carolina & miss those Martinis. This comes really close to those (if not better - I didn't think that was possible. Thank you sooooo much for the recipe! I will keep this forever! Hugs & kisses Emeril!!!!

Living in FL, I have had many variations. We like 3 oz citrus vodka, 2 oz Midori, 2 oz KeKe, splash of keylime syrup (not juice and a splash of pineapple juice. Rim with graham crackers...these are addictive!!

My sister made these martini's for my 40th birthday party! Loved them. They are smooth and just yummy. They were a nice treat in the middle of a long Michigan winter when we wish we somewhere tropical!
