I've always loved blue cheese burgers, but the seasoning for the meat made this recipe exceptional. I served the burgers on crusty buns with balsamic mayo and wild greens. My boyfriend says it's the best burger he's ever had.

These were good. It was a great idea. The second time I made them they were a little on the dry side. But the first time, I followed the recipe more precisely and they were better!

I loved these burgers because I'm a huge fan of blue cheese. My boyfriend thought they were a little too rich, but I couldn't get enough. It is very important that you seal the burgers completely to keep the blue cheese from oozing out of the burger while cooking. The seasoning on the hamburgers was delicious as well. Great recipe, Emeril!

I made a batch of these, it was so easy and I froze them for a fast meal later.

For Labor Day I took some out of freezer and defrosted them in fridge a few hours, while waiting I made up a batch of Homemade Potato Salad.

When it was time to eat just cooked the burgers. It cant get much easier than that and the taste was wonderful.

The last time I had made them was for a local EMS Crew and they loved them too! Now I may need to buy a freezer to keep them on hand in case I get a call from EMS "please feed us!" we have been running all day and have not had time to cook.

Another fabulous recipe from Emeril. Make sure you seal the patties completely--you will be rewarded with perfectly creamy bleu cheese oozing from your burger--yum! Also, it is worth hunting down the green peppercorns for the homemade mayo--a great flavor enhancement.

My husband and I love these burgers - even without the bluecheese, the meat is tasty! Incredible recipe!
