Just won a guacamole contest with this recipe! Wonderful change from "regular" guacamole. The crab is a really good addition and makes the texture and flavor something special. I was tempted to add a lot more spice to it, but you wouldn't have been able to taste the crab. Thanks for the recipe Emeril!

Unbelievable....takes a more time to make the classic guacamole, but it's more than worth it!!! Served with Flour Tortilla Chips for a twist!

This guacamole recipe has been the hit of every party I have ever served it at. When other dips are left, this one is gone and people want more. The combination of fresh ingredients and mashing rather than blending the avacado is the key. I also use other spices to give it a little more kick. Try it and you will like it!

It's so easy to make and you don't have to follow it exactly. I put in hot sauce instead of jalapenos (I didn't have any and lemon instead of lime and it is delicious.

I don't like hot spicey foods, however everyone I know does. I made this guacamole for a contest between co-workers and it won 1st place. Everyone loved it! I made a huge batch and througout the day it became a bit ugly looking but from what I heard it tasted great to the last bite. Guess I should have used more lime or lemon juice to keep its color? Make sure you put a warning on it though for those who are alergic to seafood...they'll thank you.

This was really good. I served it as a starter for dinner and then for lunch the next day. It got a little brown as expected but just stir it and good as new. I used a lot of lime juice and chilled it for a little to let the flavors settle in. Great.
