You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • Salt and white pepper
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups grated White Cheddar cheese
  • 2 pound bag of Tater Tots, thawed

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 9 x 2-inch square baking dish with the butter. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together. Season the mixture with salt and pepper. Add 1 cup of the Cheddar cheese, 1 cup of the White Cheddar cheese and the tatter tots. Mix the mixture thoroughly. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and sprinkle the top with the remaining cheese. Place in the oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

    "FILED UNDER PASTA..." HMM.... Perhaps you should rethink the name of this recipe, Emeril.... WHERE THE HECK IS THE "MAC"? I've heard of Tater Tot Mac and Cheese... but it would help to have macaroni in it...

    I printed out this recipe with the intention to make a mac and cheese dish. I neglected to notice that there was no mac! Regardless, I made it and it came out delicious! I refer to it as more of a brunch or breakfast casserole. enjoy!
