These cookies were absolutely delicious and very easy to make. I love to cook, but I cannot bake to save my life. I had no trouble at all making this recipe. The cookies are very moist and have a wonderful oatmeal flavor. The white chocalate chips really give it a kick. I must admit, I did swap the raisins for dried cranberries and it worked out wonderfully. You could swap most dried fruits.

Not sure what it was with these cookies, but they just weren't that great. I think they need to be baked longer so they aren't so soft, and maybe a bit crispier. Still a pretty good oatmeal cookie, though.

This recipe has good elements, but to avoid what the other reviews said about a flat crispy cookie, I made cookie bars. Just make the recipe as follows and then spread the entire batter onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 325 for about 20 minutes.
I also replaced the raisins with dried cranberries and used semisweet in place of the white chocolate. It does definitely need more salt. I would say 3/4 tsp. instead of 1/2. And if you don't want to buy buttermilk, just use sour cream. It did the trick for me, and is much more common to have in your fridge at all times. Hope these tips help!

I gave this recipe 3 stars for taste. The cookies are very thin and if you don't remove them from the baking sheet immediately and carefully they will stick and crumble. I think the recipe needs more flour or something of that nature.

The recipe is quite tasty. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the cookies spread so much that the edges got crispy. I like when cookies are soft and chewy. All-in-all, this is a very good recipe and one you should try.
