I used Negro Modelo for the beer. Very rich,spicy flavor. As a previous reviewer said, NOT your typical chili. Definitely a keeper!

Not your typical good ole boy, hee haw type chili. Very exotic flavors - you will either love it (and I mean love it or hate it, I suppose.
Easy to make, freezes really well and tastes best with a dolop of sour cream.
