This was the most disgusting thing I have eaten in a long time. It was so bad that I actually threw the entire mess in the trash. Disgusting.

What "reserved beer or onions?" Do you use all the liquid that the kielbasa was boiled in? I am confused!

My family loves kielbasa but not sauerkraut, and now we finally have a savory recipe to make kielbasa for dinner. I served it with small baked potatoes and we spooned the sausage and gravy over the top. And like I said NO LEFTOVERS! Everyone raved about how delicious it was, I will 100% make this again.

This was the first time I tried something different with Kielbasa and it turned out great. The sauce was mild but tasty and the family loved it. I didn't have much onion on hand so I added red pepper. This one is a keeper!

This is a great, different way to cook Kielbasa. The recipe is simple and relatively quick. Cooking Kielbasa can get old fast (come on how different ways are there to cook it?. I used a light Kielbasa to try and cut a little bit on the fat and it worked well. One word of caution - watch the amount of salt that you add for seasoning! I would suggest you not add any salt until the end, to ensure it is not too salty.

With very little prep time and no items not in my pantry (or bar, this recipe was LOVED by my entire family. This one is in the rotation for when I need to get something together quick and easy.

a great alternative to your normal chicken and beef staple dinners - the sausage always comes out tender and with all the flavors of the sauce. definitely adding this into my meal rotation!

I make this often when the weather is cooler. I substitute a semi-sweet German Rieseling for the beer and it really makes a simple dish taste quite elegant. Leftovers are good too. If you do choose to use beer, I would recommend a German Maibock with low bitterness and lots of malt. Highly bitter beers will shine through and detract from this dish.
