A wonderful way to eat a bitter leaf.

I am a vegetarian so used water instead of chicken stock. It turned out very good, but I think that maybe the kale should be cooked a bit longer

I just finished making this recipe, since I was craving kale so badly! It turned out amazing!! I followed the recipe exactly and ended it with squeezing a half a lime over it, which I believe truly made the dish POP! If you want some fast, easy, and healthy, make this! I used a whole bunch of kale, but after it wilts, it really doesn't amount to much, so measure accordingly. I highly recommend this dish!!

If you grew up on greens such as collard and kale you would not like this recipe too much. Kale is tough and needs to be cooked for almost 1 hour to tenderize it. That being said, I still liked it. My fiance wanted me to cook it longer, next time I will. Carmelized onions in the bacon fat and adde dbalsamic vinegar.

I absolutely love this recipe. I often make as is... if there is bacon in the fridge I chop that up and brown the onions with it. Always excellent!
