It was a little on the dry side, even with the cucumber sauce, but my boyfriend and I enjoyed it! we especially loved the lamb and pita bread!

We learned from Greeks the tzitziki they use, and we like it a ton more.
You *grate* an entire cucumber and drain all the water, otherwise it'll make the yogurt runny. Take a 32 oz. container of plain yogurt and scoop out a bit to make room for the added cucumber (just keep the tzitziki mix in the yogurt container. Add the grated cucumber to yogurt, mix, add 3-5 TB *dill* spice and season with salt and white pepper to taste and a bit of mint. It's best when the tzitziki has been left in the fridge overnight, and gets tastier with time.

The cucumber sauce is delicious, yet not overpowering. The Lamb was kicked up a notch with Original Emeril Seasoning, of course! My husband really enjoyed it for his birthday dinner! It's all so easy to make.

i am a gyro guru! an i was very supised in the simplicity of this recipe!! the cucumber dressing is wonderful!! i do suggest adding a genourous hunk of feta to it, but you are the expert, not me!! my family loved them!!
