This was a yummy recipe. All of the components were well recieved BUT none of us thought the couscous was a good match, it would go better with a different dish I think. Just too many flavors. I would serve the chicken and mushrooms over pasta or potatoes next time, and serve the couscous with a more Mediterranean dish.
    Thanks!

This has a great flavor without offending even those who don't like a strong taste and it stays moist.

My husband doesn't really like "flavored" foods, but this was a hit...he wants to have this meal at least monthly. He made the couscous and had fun in the kitchen. Very easy meal to prepare and tasted delicious!

This recipe needs a little tweaking. The chicken marinade makes a lovely flavorful and moist chicken breast. But the mushroom were significantly overshadowed by the 3/4 cup of balsamic vinegar. (Perhaps there was a mistake. In my opinion, the natural flavor of the mushrooms was overwhelmed by the balsamic vinegar; a sprinkling of parsley chopped with garlic and a squeeze of lemon would have been a better complement to this dish.

This is an excellent recipe! Elegant presentation as well. I could not find crimini mushrooms, so used portobellas and button.

    Oh,so good.

Then use 1/2 cup white wine to deglaze and create a wonderful thick chunky brown sauce. I also used the marinade to cook the chicken in - immediately poured it in the pan when the chicken went in so it had time to cook. Very tasty recipe with the couscous - I didn't have the veggies on hand so I substituted what I had (zucchini, summer squash, white onion. Didn't make the mushrooms, but I'm sure theyr'e great!

This dish needed more sauce and the balsamic vinegar was too much...we were almost choking on it. Not a dish for those with run of the mill tastes.

i am a self-described(well, maybe not just self! horrible cook, but this was super easy & came out even better than it looks! I had a little difficulty at the grocery store-never heard of some of the ingredients-
I never eat mushrooms (the texture and what they grow in really grosses me out but these were pretty yummy. this recipe is a definite keeper!

The marinated chicken with the balsamic mushrooms has an amazing flavor - you can taste all the individual flavors without anything being overpowering. I cut my chicken breasts into slightly smaller pieces to absorb more of the marinade. The cous cous is great too! Its a great meal and simple to make.
