The taste is good, with a lemon accent. The amount of sugar that goes in can be reduced. The recipe is straightforward, easy to follow. The only concern is the number of steps involved - heating n cooling n heating - but that is probably true of any creme brulee recipe. If making for a crowd, you can use an aluminum muffin pan instead of ramekins : so you can cut each one out and serve individually. My husband loved it! We couldn't finish each portion in one sitting though.. probly coz of the richness and sweetness.
