I used 3/4 cup lemon juice and added a pour of Absolut Citron and this turned out to be exactly what I wanted -
lip-smacking lemony. Perfect on a warm summer evening!

This recipe is fantastic, but I would definatley reccomend using four cups of water. It was much too sweet and lemon flavored without the extra water. Other than that it was great, perfect consistency.

I took the advice of another and cut the lemon juice in 1/2, it was still a little tart for my hubby's taste but I liked it just fine. It is very sweet (and I am a sugar-aholic but I don't know that you could cut down on the sugar w/o affecting the tartness. I did the recipe X6 because I wanted to save some for later and it worked very well- made a nice big batch. I recommend this recipe.

I made this lemon sorbet in a new Cuisinart ice cream machine, but I took the advice of a previous reviewer and used just about 1/2 cup of lemon juice rather than a full cup. My wife raved that this was the best sorbet that she had ever eaten; I thought that it was still just a touch too lemony, but quite good. I'm thinking that just a touch under 1/2 cup (7/16ths of cup might be just right.

I really liked this recipe although next time I will use slightly less sugar. Also, I plan to serve it in hollowed out lemon cups just for fun.

This sorbet is fabulous if you like things extremely tart. I would have preferred it toned down a little. Next time I will decrease the lemon juice.
