    Great salad! I served it over spinach with feta, and left out the bacon. Delicious!

    I have made this several times it is so good. Left out the bacon and cheese for my vegan friend. Think it is just as good without them.

    Loved this recipe because it the fresh herbs made it so flavorful. However, I doubled the lentils and all of the veggies. The dressing and bacon would have overwhellemed the more subtle flavors of the herbs and veggies.

    I have made this a few times and my whole fam loves it! Great for a summer lunch or as a side at dinner. I used the feta and that worked great!

    If you rinse your lentils, add less water, later or they'll need draining.

    I have made this salad twice already and have gotten rave reviews each time. The salad works great with goat cheese or feta. The only caution I have is that the recipe makes too much dressing; I use about 3/4 of it for the salad.

    I have had lentil soup before but never lentil salad. This recipe was great. I ommitted the bacon because we were also having shrimp po'boys with it. This salad would be great as a side dish for a variety of things. Will definitely make it again.

    I made this recipe first for my family not expecting rave reviews but it was gone in a evening and talked about for days. I also made it for a party and again it was loved by everyone. I mixed the goat chesse into the salad rather than leaving it on top or crumbling it. It add great flavor and consistancy and people don't have to serve it to themselves with the salad.
