    Dear Emeril,

    Your show on Lentil Soup with a Curry Crema and Lentil Crackers, was so delictable that I had to find the receipe and told my husband about how good it looked.

    We love your shows and try to watch as often as possible. We love your 'kicked up' sauce, and your 'sicillian sauce' is good too (I add your 'essence spices' to it, and that takes care of giving it a little more kick.

    We rate you a '10', along with Rachael Raye, Paula, Sandra Lee, and couldn't forget 'The Barefoot Contessa".

    You're changing the face of TV for the better. I grew up in the 50's and enjoyed many sitcoms. Today, the sitcoms are not about anything that we can learn from (morals, etc..If it wasn't for PBS 13 and 21 along with HGTV, the Food Channel(we get a kick out of Alton Brown, also and Travel Channel (especially Samantha Brown it wouldn't be worth having such an electronic hair frizzer at all.

    My Mom passed away a few months ago, and she used to make us lentil soup as I'm sure thousands of Mom's have done. You've helped me know that it's time for me to cook it for my husband and I.

    I have never been one to like lentils but I had some in my pantry and decided to give this recipe a try. It was so delicious. My notoriously fussy children (4 & 6yrs loved it so much that I intend to cook it again.

    My family and I really enjoyed the soup.
    It was a bit too salty...maybe because of the chicken stock. I usaually love salty but I would cut back by at least half next time. Quite a bit of chopping to do so it took a little more time than expected. Overall it was great!
