This lobster chowder was delightful. For those who complain about being time consuming - it says total time 3 hours and well worth the work!

Made this chowder for my dad's birthday party. Well worth the time and effort. I doubled the recipe and it came out great! Thank you, Emeril, for a memorable dish for a special occasion.

I love Emeril's recipes, most of the time. I thought this was average, at best, and ALOT of work.

Takes a big of time, but actually not that difficult and flavor is absolutely the best! I am becoming known for "my" Lobster Corn Chowder!

Although it was time consuming, the end result was delightful. I'm thinking about just buying lobster tails next time and using a lobster bouillion-base to make the broth. Using the best corn really makes the dish special.

This was a big hit at our dinner club (16 people. I served it prior to the main course and everyone wanted more! It is easy to make ahead and let it simmer before you need it. I am doing it again in our "best of the best" dinner club recipes. Thanks!

This recipe is a gem! I never made chowder before and although it took a while to make, the results were well worth it. The stock was very flavorful and I let it simmer longer than the recommended time. I added a little extra flour to the roux to create a thicker chowder. It truly is a delicious recipe and was enjoyed by everyone I served it to. The raves are still coming in! I highly recommend it!!!
