If you do this right, this recipe is unbelievable! My wife thought it was one of the best things she's ever had. The dressing is a phenomenal combination of flavors, the citrus adds such a great flavor to the lobster. I'm sure I'll use the dressing for lots of other things. I will definitely make this again. I thought it was easy to make (although it takes some time.

After reading the reviews I was excited to try this. I'm a good cook but not great at dressings so made it exactly how it said to. It was disappointing. The lime juice made it a little bitter and the mayo made it dull. Would have been better with a little greek yogurt instead of the mayo. Thankfully it did not ruin the lobster or the rest of the salad ingredients, which were great. Also, serving in a martini glass was very impressive.

I made this for my husband for our Valentines Day appetizer/salad and we both loved it. I'm trying the dressing on a taco salad for supper tonight. I sized the recipe down by using lobster tails and decreased the rest by 1/3, all except for the dressing, that I made the full recipe. Wonderful!

How can this be a romantic dinner if it is for six people? Check the recioe again. The lobster only boils for 8 minutes.

This is a lovely recipe for an impressive and delicious first course at an important dinner. However, the cooking time for the lobster is way too long and is likely to produce tough, overcooked meat. The rule of thumb for boiling lobsters is 8 minutes for the first pound and two additional minutes for each pound thereafter. I made this for four people and used 1 two pound lobster (female, because I love the roe, boiled for exactly eleven minutes. I stirred the roe into the dressing after pureeing. It was fabulous!

I just made the dressing to go with a taco salad and it was AWESOME! Nice and creamy. Perfect with the spicy steak on the salad. I think I will even make it as a dip for an upcoming potluck. Thanks for ANOTHER great recipe!
