I wanted to like this recipe. It was easy with very few ingredients But I found the result really disappointing, especially after all the previous rave reviews. The flavor wasn't at all complex like a chutney needs to be. I realize this was probably because there were so few ingredients. I'll never make it again. Just wasn't very flavorful.

i used this with my coconut shrimp as the dip and it was perfect! Loved it! Super easy to make and fewer ingredients than most recipes.

Super simple to make. Was a bit tart, but yummy. I might make it with red onion next time to add more color.

I was amazed at the simplicity of this recipe. It saved the premature mango in my refrigerator and did wonders for the pork chops for this was the side.
This chutney is especially flavorful warm. You will want to reheat this to get the most of the flavor addition to your meat.

I was a little leery about using this recipe because of the amount of white whine vinegar, but most of it evaporated, and the sweetness of the mango and sugar balanced it to perfection. This was an excellent topping for the panko-encrusted tilapia I made, perfectly complementing the crispy fried taste of the fish with a moist, sweet, fruity taste and texture.

i think that for me it was a pretty good recipe to follow and it was a medium diifculty level.
