    Nasty, and nothing classic about it. I hope this is a misprint and not a real recipe from Emeril. The original, the true classic, included Cointreau orange liquer and the best still do. If this was the original margarita no one in the US would have ever heard of tequila.

    For the first poster, a classic margarita is 3 parts tequila, 2 parts Cointreau, to 1 part fresh lime juice. Shake with ice and strain into salted margarita glasses. I usually put a couple of fresh chunks of ice in the bottom of each glass. Yummy.
