After allowing the meat to marinate all day long, I then grilled this last night and it turned out pretty good with a nice flavor. The other two flank recipes I have are also from this website: "Flank Steak with Red Wine Vinegar and Greens" a different marinated recipe. Also try: "Spiced Steak Caesar" a quick and delicious way to make Flank steak. All three are repeats. I did not make the steak sauce as I have learned from experience that good juicy steak does not really need additional steak sauce but each to his own.

I used this recipe for a Brazilian exchange student and her host family. The Brazilian girl had been here for eight months and was not impressed w/ American beef until she had this London broil. She loved it! And I've always found that people like London broil with cucumbers in sour cream/spring onions/dill. Everyone swabs his/her beef in the sour cream "sauce."

This is our all time favorite for a great BBQ flank steak. It's super easy and a crowd pleaser. The flavor is wonderful and the presentation is beautiful for a picnic or dinner with the in laws!

This is the best London Broil I have ever had. The meat is tender, almost melts in your mouth. I strongly recommend the marinade overnight. The meat is so tasty, you can eat without the Steak Sauce (although the sauce is great as well!

The steak and sauce was a hit. The sauce was more like a Heinze 57 Sauce than a steak sauce, but that is fine with us - is more versatile than steak sauce! Used it to marinate chicken for a spicy Asian dish and it worked well.

just too tough (meat! needs a better method for loosening the meat up. flavor gets a "not bad" - which is good - and emeril makes a surprisingly good spice blend.

I have made this marinade a few times, and every time it has come out amazing! I have yet to make the steak sauce, but if you marinate the meat for two days, you don't even NEED the steak sauce!! I usually double the marinade recipe, just so the meat has more to soak up. Also, I don't have Essence pre-made, so I just put a little of each ingredient in the marinade when preparing it.
