This was a wonderful french toast recipe, and made a very special breakfast treat. If you're an almond fan, consider adding a little almond paste to the stuffing. I couldn't find brioche but I used challah and it was perfect.

This is the best french toast ever! Everyone in my family ate it up. I just changed out the marmalade for what my husband requested, and had to use texas toast because I couldn't find the bread specified. I will say that is is sweet enough without adding the maple syrup.

We did not have orange marmalade so I substituted raspberry preserves. It was amazing! My husband told me to open a restaurant! :

This French Toast is so good, has so much flavor and if you run our of the Orange Marbleade you can use Strawberry Jam, Very Good.

I think it works much better if you slice the chulla thick then cut a pocket in it and stuff the ingredients inside. Much easier to manage, much better presentation. I used black cherry and strawberry perserves instead of the marmalade. Everyone at this after wedding breakfast loved it. I would definately make again. You could change out the fruits, fresh, perserves or marmalade to suite yourself. The marscarpone makes the filling!

Made this french toast after watching episode on T.V . I did't have measurements but only ingredients and It was fabulous. A little of this and that and I was done. No dirty measuring cups or spoons. Easy ,quick and visually pleasing and I added colorful fruit.

This is the best french toast I have ever eaten! I used egg bread (challah and it came out great. Make a bit extra because the leftovers heat wonderfully in the oven! The mascarpone just melted into the bread and the orange marmalade added a special, subtle touch. Thank you Emeril!

I made this recipe last night for dinner for me and my daughter. She does not eat much but ate everything on her plate. This recipe was great. I also ate it but had left overs, so I saved the left overs and ate them this morning heated in the oven. Outstanding. Next time I will try this recipe with strawberries. Love you Emeril. The food network will be in trouble without you and Mario. The new cook are terrible. I am also tired of the food networks repeats of shows day after day. I wish I could email them about the repeats and the new hosts that teach nothing new.
