Try it if you are looking for a more 'earthy' taste...not the sweet potato recipe for someone who wants SWEET potatoes. I wound up adding some brown sugar and it helped. Some people liked it, others...not what they expected.

I made this with my Grandma's turkey meatloaf and some corn... it was delicious! I mashed it with a fork and it came out perfect because I kept in the oven until extremely done. Also, I added a bit of heavy cream which made it so decadent. Will definitely make this again!

This is a family hit processed until silky smooth in the food processor. Unlike regular potatoes, sweet potatoes can be processed until smooth. Easy, freezes and thaws beautifully. Great with fish and beef as well!

Super yummy - I did cheat and cook the sweet potatoes in the microwave to save oven space. I also added a little heavy cream to make them a little fluffier and whipped them with my hand mixer. Everyone raved and there wasn't a bite left over!

I thought that this recipe could use a little bit of sugar. Without the sugar is taste like something is missing. I added 1/4 cup of sugar and the sweet potatoes tasted a whole lot better.

Yummy, delicious, and simple to make. Missing a certain, "wow factor" though. Plus you are taking the really healthy sweet potato and basically just mixing it with fat - so not quite a 5 for me!

My wife hates sweet potato, sour cream and nutmeg in general. But combine these ingredients into one recipe and I saw a grimace when I said "You've GOT to try this." turn into a look of surprise !

Folks, this is one you can't at least try once. Your family will be surprised that Sweet Potato can taste this good.

The only difference I did was to peal/boil then mash the potato instead of bake. Much quicker and just as tasty !

Best wishes for a happy tummy !
