If you are the sort of person who always finds blue cheese dressing far too under-cheesy, then this blue cheese mac & cheese is a must-try: it's unique, tangy, salty, and delicious. (I did replace the bread crumbs with panko and used black pepper instead of white because cracked black pepper is so good with pungent blue cheese. Of course, it's overwhelming if you are not a blue cheese fan. But that should be somewhat obvious.

I tried this with a bit of cheddar, and the bleu cheese flavor mixed really well. Also, this recipe is obviously not for someone who does not like the flavor of bleu cheese to begin with. Judging by the earlier comments, there was (somehow some confusion about that. People these days...

My husband and I love this recipe. I was not only impressed with how easy it was to make, but the taste is incredible. Awesome comfort food, but it's not your typical mac and cheese.

I am a blue cheese lover but for whatever reason I don't know about the pasta with the blue cheese. I didn't think the flavors went well together. It was very different. The bread crumbs mixed with the olive oil were heavenly :
