Sooo good and sooo easy! I used plain pre- popped salted popcorn( Kroger brand and omitted the salt from the recipe. Coating the popcorn evenly in the paper bag is the only "tricky" part. I found that it's important to stir the baking soda in quickly and get the caramel in the bag while it's good and hot. Turning the bag over and over while stiring to coat popcorn works well. The dry roasted nut recommendation was an excellent suggestion as the caramel stuck well to the nuts and made them nicely "salt/sweet". The caramel corn cools quickly on the cookie sheet and I was out the door in a snap with a delicious home made snack to share!

YUMMO! Super easy and super delish! I used pecans and macidamian nuts instead of peanuts.

Delish!!!! I was craving caramel corn...did a quick search and discovered I had almost all of the ingredients for this recipe. The only ingredient change I made was using hazelnuts instead of peanuts. I didn't have a brown paper bag, so I covered a bowl with parchment paper...turned out wonderful and will make again for sure!!! A sweet treat that is super easy.

Beyond good! My friend made this recipe for a going away party. We all ate every speck of it. I even hid a bowl behind a plant so I would have more! Will be making some today! And tomorrow....

Love the fact that ii is made in the microwave. So much easier then cooking on the stove top. Emeril thanks for another tasty easy recipe!

The recipe turned out great but when I tried to "cook" the mixture in the microwave for 2 minutes, it boiled over. Then I decided to take the mixture out of the glass measuring cup and cook in a pan on the stove. Did everyone else do this? Other wise it turned out well and is very flavorful. I especially like the use of the bag. Less mess.
