Excellently captured the subtlety of a good Fatoush.

I made this salad as part of a Mediterranean themed supper club. It was a hit - super refreshing. I've been making it once a week ever since.

My only change - I make the salad a bit more traditional, without the lettuce.

My family has been making this salad for years. It's not where it's from that matters, it's just a good recipe. Simple, fresh, healthy, delicious.

Our Lebanese friend obviously took offense that this was identified as a Persian dish. Having lived in the mid east for a couple years, most dishes cross national and often strictly ethnic boundaries, i.e. Arab, Persian, Jewish, Christian, etc. etc. Versions of this can probably be found in every middle eastern country/region, so he previous reviewer needs to "get over it" and stick to reviewing the quality of the recipe, which I thought was fine.
