Made this twice both stragiht recipe and without veal and subbing crushed pita chips for bread crumbs. Undoubtedly the best meatloaf I've had. And the Baby BAM is a useful seasoning blend around the kitchen!

Made this for several meatloaf aficionados in my family and it was unanimously agreed that this was the BEST meatloaf by far they had ever had. The few extra steps - and the variety of meat - was well worth it. Turns an ordinary meal into a very special event! Served with Emeril's cajun creamed corn and his creamed spinach - along with roasted red potatoes. Thank you Emeril and Food Network for another great addition to my "must make again" recipes!

I saw Emeril making this and thought it looked a step above routine meatloaf. Then I made it. It has become a family favorite and I love the glaze on top. This is the only meatloaf I make now. There's really not that much to it and you can make a nice big batch of Baby Bam to have on hand for this and other things.

Though this recipe was a bit time intensive, it was worth the effort! I doubled the hot sauce in the glaze and used 1% milk instead of heavy cream. The Baby Bam spice mix was easy to make and quite tasty, I added an extra teaspoon of that as well.

I had to bake mine for an hour and a half and drain it several times. Instead of veal I used ground turkey. This recipe was a real winner. I highly recommend to any one willing to put in the time!

I made this meatloaf tonight for my 11 year old grandson , he loved it and so did I. He wanted to know if he could take the meatloaf to school for his lunch. I will make this meatloaf again but I will use beef or more pork and not the veal. The veal was a little costly and I don't think it will make any difference by using more beef or pork. Oh I didn't have cream , I used can milk and I didn't have celery salt so I used celery seed and a little more salt.

In the past when I would decide to make meatloaf for dinner I was never enthused about it. I must say that now I look forward to that meal. This recipe does It takes more than 20 mins. to prepare but that's okay, it's worth every mouthful. I have given this recipe out to many friends and they agree. DELICIOUS!

My boyfriend, who is in the Army, was coming home to visit and said he was craving some good old meatloaf so I decided to make him this one. Can I tell you he literally woke up (or in his sleep in the middle of night and was still praising me for this meal! It was so very juicy and flavorful, this comes from using the combination of the meats (don't use just beef! I made some garlic mashed potatoes and mixed veggies on the side. Even the leftover, which was just a small piece, was still very tender after reheating in the microwave. I will make this again and freeze it to have it ready for him the next time he comes home.
