This cake was amazing! I made it for a birthday party and everyone loved it. It is dense and moist and chocolatey! I might add a few more nuts next time, but other than that it's perfect.

YUM! So good!! Very moist! My entire family ate it up and was still talking about it afterwards. This will definitely be made again and again. My only suggestion is to make it only when you have a lot of people over for dinner because it is so good, you can't stay out of it.

I made this cake for Thanksgiving. It makes a 9x13 pan and every bit of it got eaten the same day. I was asked to make another one and went home and did cake #2. I am making it for Christmas also because it was such a hit. This cake is so moist and delicious. It was so easy to make. Actually, it was too easy to make, and I thought to myself that it cannot be good because it was so easy. Boy, was I wrong!! I added a little almond extract to the batter and to the icing to just give it a little extra flavoring. Try it - you will not be disappointed.

Holy moly this is fantastic! Has gotten rave reviews both times I've made it. One of my friends said it was too rich and chocolately for her, but for me there is NO such thing! I'm not even a big marshmallow fan but I LOVE this cake. Even if you don't want to make the whole thing, the cake without the toppings is really excellent.

I have made this numerous times for different crowds and they have always LOVED it! It is very rich, but in small amounts its pure decadence. I like using big marshmallows so they don't disappear completely into the cake and you still get some of that ooey-gooey goodness!

Holy moly, this cake is rich! It was a little too rich for me, but my husband ate 1/2 the pan all my his skinny self last night.
He said he wants this to be mad regularly.
I used toasted pecans, but will try it again with walnuts. Also, I might try putting the cake back in the oven to brown the marshmallows.

This is absolutely delicious! My favorite chocolate cake! I have made it several times now and have passed on the recipe because others who have tried it love it, too! This cake is moist, gooey, and perfectly chocolate! Emeril's recipes have always impressed me! Soooo good! You need to make it! Don't hesitate!

This cake was so moist and had a great flavor without being too sweet. My family absolutely devoured this cake. I will definitely make this again!

I made this for my husband's birthday. I read all the review's first and made the decision to not put as much sugar in the recipe. I cut back by about 1/8 of a cup. It turned out great and was so moist! I would recommend this to everyone. It was so very simple to make and not having to wait for the cake to cool was a plus. Serve it warm!!
