This recipe was absolutely amazing. I following the recipe exactly. I thought the quality of chocolate would make a different, but I just used Nestle chocolate and the flavor was amazing! This was truly a restaurant-quality molten chocolate lava cake that was ooey and gooey in the center. All my guests loved it and I would definitely make this again! I served it with vanilla bean ice cream to offset the warm cake and it was fabulous!

These were delicious. I made sure to butter my ramekins very well. I had slightly smaller ramekins, but still baked them the full time and came out with a luscious molten chocolate center. Make sure to whisk the eggs long enough to get good loft to the cakes.

I followed the advice of others and kept the baking time low but this was an AMAZINGLY received dish - the first time I served it, it was on a plate of hot chocolate sauce w/raspberries mashed into it, with raspberry whipped cream, and a scoop of lemon sorbet; the second time, I put heated Nutella on the plate with the cake and a scoop of coffee ice cream - BOTH GREAT! Enjoy!!

Wow, I made this recipe using what I had on hand, bittersweet chocolate and was very impressed with it! Of a household of only 2, I like the fact that it only makes 4. Quite easy to make and what makes it even better, a sinch to double if needed! I would recommend this recipe to anyone who loves chocolate.

Oh my God! These are fabulous. The cake is so rich and just melts in your mouth. The cream adds an unbelieveable richness and the raspberries top it off perfectly.

My only comment is to lower the time that the cakes cook to 9 minutes, otherwise, these are easy and quick to make.

Mine turned out like brownies. I think 12 min. baking time is too long. I checked out other chefs' recipes, and theirs require only 5 - 6 min. Next time I'll try 5 min. of baking time. However, it tasted soooooo good.

If I had to use just one word to describe this recipe it would be AWESOME! I made this for my husband for Valentine's Day dinner and it was a huge hit. I served the cakes with a vanilla bean icecream topped with fresh raspberries. I am going to make this recipe a keeper!
