Having never prepared a meatloaf before, I was a bit hesitant. ...And when friends started giving me their recipes, I became even more hesitant ("just use ketchup and ground beef and put it in a loaf pan!". Emeril's recipe, however, was the only one that jumped out as being promising. I am SO glad I went with this one. My partner is the pickiest eater I know and, after whipping this up with quite a bit of ease, it was wolfed down in minutes. The remaining meatloaf made fantastic leftovers. It's so moist and flavorful! I can't wait to make it again!

Very easy to make and everyone that tries it wants the recipe!
I don't know of any better complement than... "That's outstanding! I have to have the recipe!"
I never was a fan of meatloaf but WOW! BAM! now I am.
    Thanks

I am just starting to try new recipes and this meatloaf was easy to make and made me look like a gourmet chef! My parents joined my husband & I for this dinner and dad said "I had no idea you knew how to cook like this!". I now have been labeled as a "great" cook and it's all thanks to this recipe. The ground pork and whipping cream give it an amazing taste. I could not find veal stock so I used beef and it was still great! I highly recommend this recipe for meatlof...if I could make it anyone can, ask my Dad :

This is the perfect kind of meatloaf for those of us who re not fond of a lot of tomato sauce.Worked great with mashed potatoes and brown gravy served open face style.

This is the ONLY meatloaf I have made since I first tried this recipe a few years ago. I've looked at other recipes but they all fall into that catchup rut. The broth is the secret!

This dish was full of flavor! The meat remained moist and the gravy is a great accompaniment.
