Kind of bland, but a good base to start with.

Recipe was easy, but took a little time. Very good peppers. Garlic was a little strong, but we like that kind of thing. Different from traditional italian stuffed peppers. Will definitely make again.

I really liked this recipe because the filling is cooked before stuffing. We like a lot of sauce in my family though so I put sauce on the bottom of the casserole dish instead of water and then covered the peppers with the remaining sauce. We served this with sliced french bread. My husband had never had stuffed peppers and was not excited about it and he loved them! Also, my 13 month-old devoured the mixture! :

This is a fantastic dish that is easy to make. I substituted the beef and pork with ground turkey (cheaper and less calories, and used brown rice. This is such a delicious, flavorful dish, my fiance wants me to cook these stuffed peppers every week!

I have always loved stuffed bell peppers but I have been looking for just the right recipe. This is it! I love the fact that the meat and rice are cooked prior to putting them in the peppers. When the peppers are done every element of the recipe is done to perfection.
