If I were to make this pie again, I think that I would find a substitute for the Kane Syrup. Other than that particular overwhelming flavor, the pie was good.

I added a little pectin like another reviewer suggested to make it a little firmer. It set up great with it and ALL my co-workers raved about it. A little slice goes a long way! It was a little rich on the chocolate for me and the whip cream is a must for this!!! I will make again for sure!!!

I won the 4th annual bake off at Disney with this recipe. The only changes that I made was adding an extra cup of praline and a teaspoon of unflavored gelatin to the custard. The first time I made it it didn't set up the way I wanted it to. The gelatin made it perfect. Thanks Emeril!
