We like The "Factory" for their Cheesecake, but this one is as good or better than theirs! One reason why,is you made it yourself and all praise will be yours! The other reason is, it is darn good! Follow the directions, use a water bath for baking, let it cool in oven after baking an hour or so, then to the icebox for a compleat chill! Serve to friends and family and you will shine as I did. It is very easy to make don't be intimidated you can do it, GOOD LUCK!

I've never made a cheesecake before ... unless you count those "no bake" ones. I was pleasantly surprised at how simple this was to make ... and how delicious the finishing product was. My honey and I made it together to go with our Valentine's Day dinner. We ended up taking it over to his family's house instead and boy was it a hit! Everyone loved it and I was told that we could bring it over anytime!

I too am gluten sensitive. I just took this cheesecake out of the oven. I used Pamelas Extreme Chocolate Mini Cookies for the crust. I'm pretty sure they're available on line if you don't have a local store that carries gluten-free items.

I made this and gave to some friends for Christmas (without trying it. It did not last 2 days in their home! He and his wife said I could make this for them any day.

This was my first cheesecake. I made it for Thanksgiving for my family and they all loved it!!! It was simple and turned out wonderful! You will need a extra chocolate pie crust for the extra filling. That is a good thing cause the cook always needs to sample their dishes. Ha! Make this it is worth the time and money!! Thanks Emeril!!

I never made chocolate cheesecake before. Well I used this recipe and it came out deliciuos. Everybody in my family loved it, I will definitely make it again. The only thing that I used that wasn't in the recipe was cacao instead of melted chocolate and it was great.
