I served this at our last family dinner. It was an all time hit. Definitely on my favourites list. I didn't change as thing except the pan size. I didn't have a 9 inch so used a 10 instead.

Yum! I made a few changes, I used a graham cracker crust as that's what I had on hand and omitted the liquors (serving to kids. I doubled the lime juice and used a bit more zest to make up for the lack of liquor. I used light sour cream and neufchatel cheese and it was still creamy and rich. Will be making this again!

Awesome! Hands-down favorite 2 yrs in a row at our symphony fundraiser (patrons voted with their money! Served it in 4oz. "margarita" (mini-champagne? glasses dipped in marg. mix & crushed pretzels, with very small 'tasting spoons,' on a Mexican sarape covered with see-thru plastic, with Mariachi music on a boom box, and a burro pinata hanging over a potted agave plant, tequila bottle, and several limes. A real show-stopper! (Not to mention my costume! COMMENT: I made 4x10" and 4x9" pans; half of each were dark non-stick and half were shiny silver -- all the dark were semi-firm, all the silver were soupy - ? I'm at 4,500' above sealevel. Something going on here I don't understand. Didn't matter cause of way I served, but, advice anybody?

I love the presentation this cake can allow with the lime slices. I have used curled lime peel too, and think I'll try some strawberry puree this summer. I have made this cheesecake a dozen or more times, and it is no fail I can't screw it up! I am not sure how the person ended up with a runny cheesecake, it just never happens. This is the most requested dessert I make, and I make a lot of no-bake cold desserts for summer. I will tell you this, I cut back on the tequila/triple sec on one of the cakes, and it just is not the same. I keep thinking I'm going to substitute rum, and see if I have a Daiquiri flavor. I'll let you know!!

This recipe was delicious and easy! It was a great complement to the "Mexican night" I hosted at my house. However, the taste of the liquor is very strong and some people may not like that. I used Grand Marnier and Tequila.

The only word I can say about this cheesecake! I love margarita's and cheesecake so what a great "marriage" of tastes! Took this to work and was an instant success. Fix this if you want rave reviews.

It was a very easy recipe to follow, but I would suggest that you have everything lined up and measured out before you begin. I was a little worried about using the gelatin, thinking it would be grainy, but it was fine. I even made a mistake, I put the sugar in with the cream cheese before I realized the mistake, everything was fine. The one thing I will do next though is add a bit more salt to the crust, maybe my pretzels weren't salty enough.
