This is a meal that is to die for. It is way to much food but it did impress the guests and except for the onion rings made great leftovers.

My husband's best friend was coming to dinner and he believes that anything green has no business on a plate. Knowing that meat and potatoes was going to be the only way to make his kind of a meal, I found this recipe. It was IDEAL. The flavors were great together. And the mashed potatoes are certainly a side dish to make at other times with other meals. The seasonings did kick it up a notch and overall, the meal was easy to make. Due to time constraints I did have to cheat and buy frozen onion rings, but with fresh oil and dashing the hot sauce on top, it was still okay. Thin ones are the what we like best. He loved it and so did the rest of the family. THANKS EMERIL
