Emiril Lagasse is NOT a certified chef, but a TV cook that has the gift of entertaining an audience. I mean the very first thing a cook learns is how to garnish a plate. Have you noticed Emiril's garnishing? OMG...And on another show he "attempted" to make fried ice cream. It is a "no brainer" that you don't leave ice cream (even with a coating in a deep fryer for any longer than a few seconds, which is how fried ice cream is made. Emiril held his corn flakes, cinnamon, covered ice cream ball in the fryer until the thing fell apart...OMG !
Emiril, advice from a real chef, stick to what you know how to cook "on air" and practice 'off air' what you don't. And STOP stealing recipes claiming that its your creation as this Mole receipe. " Bam" on you bro....

This should be corrected to read "courtesy of Diana Kennedy," because it's the same recipe that's in her book "The Art of Mexican Cooking," which was published 20 years ago.

It was my first attempt at making Mole and it came out amazing - made this for a Cinco de Mayo party and even non- Mole lovers had seconds. It is VERY labor intensive, but very much worth it. Will make it again next year for sure...
