We used regular carrots and julienne them. Cooked them a bit less and what a hit! Everyone loved them!

I love these carrots. I have made them several times in the last two years. They are the only recipe for carrots that I use.

They were sweet (my boyfriend said like a dessert and tender. I would cut on the amount of cinnamon and allspice though, I used half of the amount required, but next time I might cut it even more! Overall, very good :

These were delicious and ridiculously easy to prepare! I am not sure how tender they were supposed to be, but the carrots turned out a little crunchy on the inside, which was perfect to me. I served this with Giada De Laurentiis' Stracoto with Porcini Mushrooms. We liked how the two balanced one another out.

Delicious! This recipe is so easy, and it's nice to have a side-dish that isn't a casserole. It's a nice change in texture from the other stuff we usually have.

This is definitely not a 5-star recipe. Cinnamon and nutmeg is overwhelming as stated in another review. I would not recommend this recipe to anyone.

It's so simple and delicious that it got the kids vegetables like it was candy.
