A winner! I didn't use salt and substituted splenda instead of sugar, was so good! Hubby and sons ate it all up after dinner!

This was a great tasting treat! I used some apples grown by my mom in her backyard and it was a hit! Very sweet and delicious. Easy to make! It doesn't say in the recipe, but I left the peels on and it was fine.

I halved the recipe and cooked in a stoneware baking dish and it needed 50 minutes in a convection oven! time is way off. However added extra butter and it was very tasty.

Great recipe! Served this to my family and guests, and they loved it. Used the nutmeg tip, and also added a packet of raisin date and walnut instant oatmeal I had in the pantry. Very easy to do. This one is a keeper.

The only apple crisp recipe that could rival my grandma-in-law's! It is so good I ate it for dessert, for a midnight snack and now for breakfast! The only thing I added was nutmeg...got to have nutmeg! It is also far from salty; a teaspoon of salt is perfect, especially since I used unsalted butter. This is so yum!

I followed the directions to the T and the topping was terribly salty! It ruined the entire dish and I ended up throwing the entire thing away. Don't add the teaspoon of salt!!! Please don't... you'll regret it!

my kids and my husband loved it. I had to cook it longer then the recipe suggested. If you liike the apples softer put it in for an extra 20 min. great family fun the kids picked the apples from the tree and helped measure all the flour and suger.
