I enjoyed this recipe a lot.. it was very easy and I agree with other reviewers that you need to cook the onions much longer. I added crumbled cooked bacon in it and it was a huge hit.

So good and so easy...tasted fancy but was very simple to make. Next time I might cut the onion strings a little shorter so they are easier to bite off.

Amaze your guests with this flavor combo - delicious and easy - I made extra filling and froze it for later - how easy is that?

These little tarts were a big hit at my Thanksgiving dinner. It's very important to cook the onions til they are very soft; a lot longer than suggested. That way, you don't get a big long string of onion when you bite in.

I can't tell you how easy these were and how wonderful the flavor was!!! I have served them with everything from a grilled salmon to Easter brunch and they can adapt so easily into any menu! I used quite a bit of black pepper and the layers of flavors was wonderful!!!! Try these and don't be intimidated by the puff pastry...it was my first time to use it and I'm so glad that I did!
