This is the first time I tried Emeril's recipe and it's terrific. Even if you have left overs just re-heat it the next day and it's even more flavorful and delicious.

This recipe was simple and quick. The taste was typical of any meat that is seasoned with Essence. What made me give the 5-star rating is the tenderness of the pork chops - throwing them in the oven for the last 10 minutes rather than cooking them straight in the pan really made a difference!

My husband, looking for a different way to cook pork chops, came across this reciepe. It was really good and easy to make. Even my picky eater middle son finished his dinner.

The coating has a good bite to it, but don't overdo the seasonings or it will drown out the pork flavor.

It took me 22 minutes for the pork chops (double cut to be cooked. Don't forget to drain some of the bacon fat; otherwise, the sauteed cabbage would be too greasy.
