Emeril, Made it exactly how you said to- DELICIOUS!
Seasoning the fish first then breading worked out perfectly.
    Thanks for the great recipe.

great! made with cod, seasoned the panko instead of the fish and the results were wonderful! didn't make sandwiches but served with homemade tartar and oven sweet potato chips!!!

Awsome!Made with ocean pearch. Used all the spices and panko. Didn't make sandwiches. Panko stayed on the fish for a change. I used a non stick(green pan and canola oil heated until hot but not about to burn. Squeezed lemon onto fish after cooking. Delish!

This is the second time I have made this recipe and my husband, son and I just love it. I do not make the sandwiches. I am only speaking to the fried fish and being that we are up here in the Seattle area we either put just a squeeze of lemon on the fish (me or use Ivar's tarter sauce.
The fish is crunchy and not greasy. I serve it with steamed broccoli, again with just a squeeze of lemon. Delicious!

I have bad luck trying to do fried food at home. I was very careful with this recipe but I still found that the fish got fried on the outside long before it was hot and flaky on the inside. I had to transfer the pan to the oven to finish it off. I love chipotle on everything, but I prefer good old tartar sauce on my fried fish.

The spice mixtures for fish are superb in this recipe. And since I didn't have an army to feed, I cut the recipe in half, skipped the bread & mayo and added fresh tomatoes topped with green tobasco. Just the right amount of heat. Delightfully fresh & spicy.

My Wife and I had high hopes with this recipe - Especially considering the source. First let me preface this with the fact we normally don't eat oil fried food in our home. We made the exception and were surprised how mediocre this dish tasted. Although I will agree the cod fried up nicely and wasn?t oily, the fish really didn't have much flavor outside of the heat from the chipotle mayonnaise.

We really felt this dish wasn?t worth the necessary cleanup after pan frying.

I really enjoyed this recipe. The cod was flavorful and crunchy and not greasy. You want to make sure to eat it all the first time around, or cut the recipe in half, because it doesn't re-heat well. Definite thumbs up!!!
