I saw Emeril make this cake one day and thought I would have to try it. The occassion came up to make for my grandmother for her birthday and it was a big hit. Even my dad ate it who does not like turnip. I told him to think of it as a white carrot cake (which it really is!!!
I found the turnips took the longest, but once that was done, everything was quick and easy. I then had fun after it was frosted and decorated the cake for my grandmoter adding frosting flowers and wrote happy birthday. She loved it and I know you will too!!!
